MR&R INTRODUCTION
In order to cope with some special cases of root canal treatment, dental tools manufacturer NIC Dental has introduced the MR&R System. The MR&R System was designed and developed on the basis of two national patents. It can be used to remove broken files in root canal and deliver MTA or other biomaterials.
Root canal file breakage can occur due to factors like complex canal anatomy, improper use of files, manufacturing defects, or inadequate knowledge. Broken endodontic files can block the canal, making cleaning difficult and affecting the prognosis of the tooth. Leaving the broken endo file unaddressed can lead to discomfort and increase the risk of treatment failure.
This is where our MR&R System comes into play. It is effective in removing broken files left in the root canal, handling perforation repair in endodontics, etc. It improves the success rate of treatment and patient comfort.

01. Endo perforation repairingIn the course of root canal treatment, the perforation of the pulp floor or the perforation in the root canal wall caused by operation mishaps can be repaired by using the MR&R system to deliver MTA and other biological materials. This way, the endodontic perforation can be repaired, and the teeth can be preserved and function well.

02. Pulp CappingClinical capping pulp syndrome refers to conservative treatment. The system will use MR&R MTA and other biological materials delivered to the exposed pulp. Pulp tissue often heals, and pulp can be saved without further endodontic treatment.

03. Preparation of apical barrierThe teeth with root canal barrier pasty were selected. The MTA and other bio-materials were filled to the tip with transport to prepare a permanent apical barrier, and then the root canal filling was completed.

04. Retrieve the broken instrumentAfter evaluating the position of the broken file in the root canal, which is suitable for removal, the MR&R system can be used to remove the broken instrument in the root canal with less dentin sacrifice.
